This course explores different aspects of physical model making. This assignment particularly looks at two unrelated 3d geometry, and how they might interact with one another to form a new kind of shape. The making process of the actual geometry is also taken into consideration when designing. Some shapes are not able to make with laser cutter, some need 3 axis cnc and some can only be made with 3d printing technology. This shape is the intersection of two donuts and a cone. The material is cast expandable foam and scrap foams within, and the geometry is made by 2 axis flip cnc. Two reference points were carved out beforehand in order for the flip cnc to successfully cut both sides.
